Day Off
Today is Sunday, February 3, 2008 and it is my day off. Define day off? Okay. First of all, God says it's my day off and I always try to obey Him. I make that a clear point to anyone who calls me on my day off and wants me to chauffeur them to a skating rink or movie theater, or throw a "special" shirt in the washer because out of 100 shirts hanging in the closet, the "special" shirt has a "wear" status of "right now". Day Off means......I only do what I want to do whether anyone likes it or not. One day a week allows me to do that, and everyone knows it. However, someone might try to sneak in a request and try to make me think that it's something I want to do. Sometimes, it works. Most times, it doesn't. An example of doing what I want to do is doing what I'm doing right now. Sitting at the computer for two hours (so far) and setting up this blog. I tried to do it late last night, but I fell asleep at the desk and decided I'd finish it today. Thanks to a computer literate granddaughter, whose initials start with Tam-e(lol), I'm probably going to be sitting here a lot longer playing around with this. So not only am I enjoying my day off, in obedience to God, I can tell anyone with requests for services today that it's Tam-e's fault that I'm busy. Sigh, I'm off to blogging everyone, so my last words for today are, "DON'T BOTHER ME". God bless.

I love it!!! It looks great! and your post is a wonderful read! I look forward to more.
I know what you mean about trying to get a BLOG started. Since Tam-e started blogging, I thought it would be fun too. It took me two hours or more to set-up mine. Wasn't sure I really wanted to keep it, but then Tam-e found out I had a blog so I decided it might be worth keeping around for a while.
It's a way for me to keep in touch with my daughter and her family. I love seeing the photos of the children and whatever else she does in her life.
Keep up the good work Vickie, you're off to a good start.
Tam-e's mom, Marty
Sorry, didn't realize my name wasn't correct so I changed it.
It should now say: Marty said.....
Now you know why it took me 2 + hours to set my blog page up. Besides that I used a different google account.
Computers are fun aren't they?
