Grandma Rocks

Friday night was sisters night. The three of us got together at Gayle's house. (She has the pool) First thing, of course, we ate subs and pizza. Then we went for a relaxing swim. Actually, the night started off pretty calm which is unusual for us because when the three of us get together, we get kind of crazy. Especially when no one else is around. Gayle brings up the idea of playing guitar hero on her new WII. That's when it all started. I couldn't believe how exciting it was. Sheryl played first, not too well, I might add, but who am I to talk. I didn't even know how to even begin and went through the whole song, which was Slow Ride, without strumming a note. The hardest part for me was pushing the right color buttons. It took real concentration. I quit (for awhile) and watched the other two make fools of themselves. When they insisted I give it another try, I gave in. I thought Slow Ride was a bit fast, so I went to Cliffs of Dover. Ha.....Slow Ride was slow motion compared to Cliffs of Dover, but I went through it. I didn't much like getting booed off before I got to the middle of the song, but I kept trying. I finally made it through and got the flash "You Rock". Even got to put my name on their score board. But by then, I really didn't want to give it up. It was too much fun. So I went back to Slow Ride until I mastered that one. Of course, I'm not going to tell you I didn't try the "hard", actually, I did the "easy", but, give me a break. I'm new to this. I had the time of my life and we laughed at our motions, our expressions and our determination. It was a hoot to watch Sheryl, especially, because she tried Pride and Joy the whole evening and kept getting booed off. It was her movements and expressions that cracked me up. Reinna called me to see what I was doing and when she heard all the commotion, she couldn't believe it when I told her I was doing guitar hero. I told her that Grandma Rocks, baby. And I'm going to work on getting my own guitar hero so I don't have to share.

You go Vicki!!! I love Guitar Hero. We played this weekend. I hadn't played in a while so it took me some time getting back into the swing of things!
