Thank you, Lord for another day of life.
Aww, the stillness of my house early in the morning. Everyone is sleeping. Quiet. What an awesome sound. This is my time. I actually set my alarm to be sure I'm up a couple of hours before the sounds of a normal day begin. The phone doesn't ring, my name isn't being called. I don't need to jump in my van to pick someone up or drop someone off. My washer isn't running, my dishwasher is off. Stillness. This is the best part of my day. My time with God. I'm all His, totally, body, mind and soul. I love it. "Speak, Lord, your servant is listening."
