What Happened?

Brrrrr! Where's the sun? Wasn't it just last week that I had my windows open, warm breezes blowing through or did I dream that? IT IS DARN COLD! I heard on the news there was ice build up on I70 in Licking County and it had to be shut down for awhile. Just goes to show you God has a sense of humor. I think it's His way of teaching us to appreciate what we had in the warm weather, and also gives us something to look forward to. Like it's part of His plan. This will pass, and it will be warm again. It's funny how the meteorologists study the weather to such an extent so as to "predict" what the weather will be and with a blink of an eye, God can change it. I think He does it just to remind us He is in control. Although, I think the meteorologists were right this time. Or were they? I don't know. I don't really care. In the midst of the rain and cold wind yesterday, I saw some beauty out of it all. I saw a dark, beautiful rainbow. We all know what the rainbow means. It's God's promise that He will never again send such a flood as He did in Noah's time to destroy mankind. ("...and the bow shall be seen in the cloud", Genesis 9:11-15) What a relief.
