Meet Marleigh Hughes, she is our newest great granddaughter, born June 8, Sunday weighing in at 7 lbs, 20 in long. She has enough hair to put a few small curlers in (if they make them anymore). Isn't she just the cutest thing? She had a difficult time coming into this world, I'm told. Her head appeared, but then one of her shoulders got stuck by Mom's pelvic bone. They couldn't proceed with a C-section because her head was already out and they had little time to try to maneuver her past the bone, but, with God's hand helping, they did it. It was hard for me to believe that Mom was released so soon from the hospital, and she was up and about so soon, considering how uncomfortable she was feeling. Marleigh will take front and center on my table in the foyer, but the honor will be short lived, as another great granddaughter will very soon be arriving. Her name will be London. I will have to let the two girls share the front and center. I'm sure they won't mind.

Marleigh is a combination of
Mom's (Jenna) and Dad's (Jamison)
middle names. Jenna's middle name
is Marie and Jamison's is Lee. Cool,
wouldn't you say?

Cool idea to figure out a name lol. Glad Jenna and baby are doing well. Keep us posted on baby pics...they change so fast!!
