Happy Birthday To Me

Yep, today is my birthday. I really wouldn't have realized it if it weren't for everyone else, but I turned 58 at 11:32 am. Actually, I should give my mother a rose for having me. LOL. Today was just like any other day, tho', I was coming and going all day long, running errands, running to the schools, grocery store, bagging papers that had to be delivered by Chasey, it really was a tremendously busy day. Everyone remembered, called me, however, they had to leave messages because I was so so so busy. I DID get to talk to my mother because I call her every morning after the kids get off to school, but after that, I wasn't able to answer any of my phone calls. I wanted to spend the day just sitting and thinking about my birthday, but that wasn't in my schedule, to say the least. Now that it is 8:00 pm, finally landed, the day is about over, come and gone. Sigh. The highlight of my birthday was when I raced over to the middle school at football half time, which I almost missed, to see Reinna and her cheer group do their performance and when they were finished, all 15 girls run over to me and sang Happy Birthday in front of the entire stadium of people. Of course, I cried, and I gave them all a thumbs up and told them how great they are. I thought that was the greatest thing. And they all called me Grandma. WHAH!!! Now I'm all teary eyed again.

Well, I'm off to shower, wait for Braydon to get home from football practice, the girls to get home from the school win celebration at Roosters, and then to bed. HEY, wait a minute. I just realized I didn't have to go pick any of them up. They are all being dropped off!!!! WOW.

It's a great life.
