Don't think I'm crazy, but I am one who has to think quite far ahead. Christmas, yes, I said, Christmas, will be here before we know it and I need your help. I need to know what to get everyone that is on my list. Your family, Tam-e, is my biggest challenge since I have no idea what your children are interested in at this time. And you, Ashlyn, may be a bit easier, since I have an idea what young teen girls might be interested in, but I would rather have your own ideas. The new babies in the family would be easy, except that I would like to get something the parents really would like to have for them, so that's your job, Laura. While you're at it, see what you can find out about Missy's other two. Now, if clothes happen to be in any of your minds, please, please, give me sizes and favorite colors. Donna, this all goes for you, too. And I hope you can get up here this year. I really missed you guys last year. Jennifer, in the hopes that you have finally set up a blog, let me know when you guys are coming up. (I'll probably call her). One last thing, please give me several ideas to chose from.
Okay, now....I have a full schedule on Saturdays in the month of December. I have cheer competitions, school and church functions and the girls are having their Christmas parties. I also have a very special wedding to attend on Saturday, December 20. So......our family party will have to be on a Sunday this year. I am planning it for December 21, starting at 3 p.m. I can't help it, guys. I've pondered and wondered and this is the best I can do. I'm hoping that letting everyone know about the date this soon will help you plan your events.
To make this easy, just click comments and leave your information. As for what to bring to eat... you decide and I'll work around your offerings. This will also let everyone else see what you plan to bring. We will have our Crazy Christmas exchange as usual.
I think that covers everything. Gosh, this may be the first post with lots of comments. I'm excited about seeing everyone and my hero always looks forward to all of his family being together.
One other thing....as Jesus tells us that when we do for others, we do also for Him, I'd like to put together a nice basket of food to give to a man in my church who has no family and is on a very limited income. He's in his 80's so something that would be simple for him to fix for himself would be great. His name is Bruce. Any donation from any of you would be so appreciated. And he likes just about anything.
God bless you all. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone together again.

I will put this on my calendar so we can be there. As for us please don't worry about them, but I know you. John loves Pokeman Cards or Hot wheel cars. Shelby is into purses, makeup, cloths. She is into a size 12/14. HMS is big. John still wears a 5 slim or a 5/6 shirt. He likes anything. So since you're asking what about you and Jim? What do you guys need/want beside buckeyes? Shelby and I are leaving on Friday for Chicago. We're going to the American Girl Doll Store for her big "10". Can you believe it? I'm going to do some Christmas shopping while I'm there so let me know. Love you bunches! - Donna
Jim and I don't need anything from you that we don't already have, and that's your love and friendship. Just bring yourselves.
Winnie is bringing a pickles, cheese and olives platter and a dessert.
Lana is bringing her famous taco dip and watergate salad.
Michelle is bringing baked beans. I'm doing a spiral ham, punch bowl with sherbert, Christmas cookies.
Laura is bringing her famous pumpkin roll.
